Fortune China released the 2026 Fortune Global 500 list on July 28, with Shenghong Holding Group ranking 158th. Shenghong has now appeared on the list for seven consecutive years since 2020, rising in the rankings each year and advancing a total of 297 places.
Published annually by the US-based Fortune magazine since 1995, the Fortune Global 500 ranks the world’s 500 largest companies primarily by revenue. It is one of the best-known and most authoritative benchmarks indicating the scale of major global enterprises.

In recent years, Shenghong has developed a distinctive industrial structure built around oil, coal and gas as three complementary feedstock sources, with aromatics and olefins serving as two parallel development pathways. Its printing and dyeing business has an annual processing capacity exceeding 2.4 billion metres, and has consistently ranked first among the top ten enterprises in China’s printing and dyeing industry. Its chemical-fibre business has an annual polyester-filament capacity of approximately 3.6 million tonnes, with differentiated products accounting for more than 90 percent of output. In petrochemicals, Shenghong has completed China’s largest single-train integrated refining and petrochemical complex, with an annual capacity of 16 million tonnes, as well as the world’s largest single-train alcohol-based polygeneration complex, with an annual capacity of 2.4 million tonnes.
Shenghong is fully implementing China’s new development philosophy and accelerating the cultivation of new quality productive forces, while continuing to pursue breakthroughs in technological innovation, and green and low-carbon development, as well as digital and intelligent transformation. In technological innovation, it has established platforms including the National Advanced Functional Fiber Innovation Center and the Advanced Materials Research Institute, while independently developing high-end new materials such as photovoltaic-grade EVA, POE and PETG to drive industrial innovation through advances in science and technology.
In green and low-carbon development, Shenghong has established the world’s first complete recycled-fibre and carbon-capture-fibre industry chains. Its annual recycled-fibre capacity of 600,000 tonnes ranks first globally, supporting a growing portfolio of green products. In digital and intelligent transformation, the Group has developed and commissioned facilities including its Smart Printing and Dyeing Industrial Internet Platform and digital acrylonitrile quality-control laboratory, using digitalisation and intelligent technologies to reshape its competitive advantages.
Looking ahead, Shenghong will remain firmly committed to the real economy, fully harnessing the strengths of its integrated value chains and independent innovation capabilities as it advances towards becoming a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness.
